Photography can be about trying to replicate the view you see in front of you, but another approach can be to aim to produce something completely different.
Blackrock Cottage in the Scottish Highlands is an iconic photographic location. The cottage attracts thousands of photographers each year and, with modern digital photography techniques, each photo is likely to be slightly different to another image taken by another photographer at the same place and time.Blackrock Cottage can be found on the A82, just a few miles south of Glencoe village. This is the cottage that so many people shoot with Buchaille Etive Mor in the background.
I've visited this location many times and I decided it was time to put a number of the images together in one photo blog.
My images have been processed in many different ways in Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Silver efex pro for mono.
